Biography- Tales of Yudhishthira: Justice for the Pandava
Yudhishthira was the last one standing. During their journey to Mount Meru one by one the Pandavas began to fall starting with Draupadi and Bhima begin the last to fall after Yudhishthira. He sees a flying chariot approaching him and the dog. God Indra offers to take him to heaven but he refuses to go without his brothers and wife. After Indra assures him they are already in heaven, Yudhishthira than says he wants the dog to accompany him since he can't leave the loyal dog behind. Indra is outraged but he insists that the dog reveals himself as god Yuma who was testing Yudhishthira again because of this he is allowed to enter heaven in his human form and Indra chariot. When he arrives in heaven Duryodhana is there. He also notices his brothers and wife are not there. He is asked to be taken to them. He is taken to a foul place of rotting corpses than he hears their voices crying out to him for comfort and he vows to stay with them no matter what. That moment the gods appear and praise him as this was his last test. Yudhishthira bathes in the celestial Ganga river and acquires divine form and is taken to heaven where this time he finds his brothers there.
